DA's have no accountability whatsoever. And they are all using the office as a stepping stone to a higher office. So they look for publicity (unethical) and "notches in their belts" at the expense of defendants who cannot afford to defend themselves and who mistakenly believed in equal justice. The DA position attracts the absolute worst people on the planet - psychopaths and narcissists every last one. They care about one thing: themselves. The law is there to be manipulated in their favor. Judges mostly try not to rock the boat. The crazier the DA, the more they get away with. Once they get the press on their side in a case (unethical but easy), it's over. The rest is just theater.

And every crime family knows to plant their own people into the 'judicial system'.

We need for everyone to get over the idea that judges are impartial, above politics. Most judges are aligned with one or the other of the parties. That's how they got their judgeship in the first place.

Show me the man and I will show you the crime, as they said in the Stalinist era.

"How about a judicial system in which, if the defendant is subject to jail time, and is found innocent, the prosecutor serves that jail time? Sound crazy? It sounds like equal justice under the law, to me."

Me, too, Rad. Well done!
