There are lots of banned books

Interesting part of an article

See below

Regina Walsh, a 63-year-old retired social worker, said the brat hype reminded her of when rude “Karens” became a concept several years ago, which her son had to explain to her. She said she didn’t understand this week why she was hearing about brats on TV news.

“I was so upset that they were calling Kamala Harris, our vice president, a brat,” she said.

It’s fascinating this person’s investment in a person she had never met who does not know she exists and certainly does not care about her

The word 'banned' needs to be more closely examined. "Banned' usually means government censorship. And we have to ask why a government would ban the things that it bans. Usually, it's to protect itself, not the citizens. Banning pornography in public elementary schools is understandable, and the books generally are available elsewhere if someone wants to read them.

That any particular store would choose to not sell something is generally within their right and is not a banning.

Now, let's talk about corporate media. Do they have a right to 'ban' Kamala Harris and the Future of America. Arguably, yes. But they have a professional and ethical responsibility to all of us to say that they are doing it, and why. Amazon has censored a book that they have carried for four years, and a child can figure out why. The book is unflattering of the Left's new messiah, and they will do all they can to keep anyone form hearing a negative opinion. That is sick and disgusting, and it is the reason that I have sworn to never vote for any democrat, ever again.

Lulu couldn't just drop the book, because it would reveal tht they aren't the all-encompassing free-thinking liberals that they want us to believe they are. So, instead, they've shadow banned the book by making it impossible to complete a credit card purchase.

The left has effectively banned Kamala Harris and the Future of America, but they don't want anyone to know, or everyone will want to read it. Well, I want to read it. The more they hide it from me, the more I want to read it. Please, get it out there that the leftists in the democratic party are not at all interested in democracy. They demand totalitarianism.

I wanted to read a particular philosophy book and searched for it on Amazon

Amazon had banned all books by this philosopher

They did have books that other people wrote disparaging this philosopher

I was able to find the book on another site

What’s interesting is the authors book was an analysis on Heidegger’s ideas

Some view Heidegger as a supporter of a 1930s ideology

This book was on Heideggers ideas one “the event”

If one wants to do a philosophical study one needs different viewpoints

It's scary that people presume that, if they've never been told about it, it never happened. I've seen a lot in all my years, but I never guessed that I would see a full-on totalitarian takeover in the USA.

It's 1984 all over again.

It's insidious. We know it and they know that we know it. They also know that their people are clueless and they want to keep it that way.
