George Soros didn't make money when he started out, he stole it. There was a 60 Minutes broadcast years ago where he was interviewed and it came out he had stolen money from Jews in WW2 who were sent to concentration camps. In the interview, he BRAGGED about how he stole money from the Jews. That interview may still be on the internet. Just wanted to point that out. And yes, there are rich people who do horrendous things with that money but there are also those who are wealthy who do good things with their money - I've known a few of those. One was my dad. He was born in 1920 into a very poor family. In those days women didn't work so there were no jobs for women and my dad didn't grow up with a father so he was the main bread winner starting when he was 6 y.o. The Depression hit later on and things got worse. It got so bad that the govt sent him to a CCC camp because his mother couldn't afford to feed him and he was literally starving to death. I have a picture of him when he was 12 and she took him to the camp. She told me she was very grateful for that program because she couldn't feed him. When he grew up, he was determined to never be poor again so he started his own public relations business - and unlike most P.R businesses these days he NEVER lied, he was a very honest man. What he did was expose truth about those who did lie. He grew his business and became very successful. However, he never made as much money as he should have because for vast majority of his life, until he was almost 70 y.o., he had to pay 93% of his income in taxes. That was what the govt did until late 1980s when President Reagan changed that.
Very good information that our young kids need to know and also we adults need to know
It's really depends what they do with their money and power
George Soros being a case in point.
Or the rich Muslims pouring money into colleges to poison young minds on an effort to destroy the West.
Or Bill Gates.
Or Bono.
Or Bezos's ex-wife using her money to find poisonous charities to destroy the West.
