It’s been just a week since one of the most horrid, inhuman mass murders in history took place. A large group of sub-human, hate-filled animals slaughtered innocent people for the sheer joy of doing it.
Do we really need to contemplate extenuating circumstances, as if they matter? Apparently, we do. There are those who blame Israel and Jews. There are those who blame Palestinians and Muslims. I blame the subhuman, hate-filled animals.
The Mideast has been a cauldron of culture clash for as long as history can remember. When Palestinians blame Israel for its actions, I can see their point. When Israel blames Palestinians for their actions, I can see their point, also. But as an individualist, I see individuals, not nationalities or religions. I see individual Palestinians trying to make a life for themselves, and the same for Israelis. Yes, I know they’re in each other’s way, and no, I don’t have “the answer”. I know that wars get fought, and I know that people have a tendency to choose sides. There’s no point to watching a football game without choosing sides, and I guess it’s the same for war.
But my side is the side of the individual. Why should I care which ones are Jews, and which are Muslims? If I have a side, it is the side of honest individuals who abide by the golden rule. That pretty much leaves out subhuman, hate-filled animals. As some people atrociously attempt to place the act of a week ago is some sort of us/them perspective, I have to ponder what standards they measure by. By what standards do they place themselves on the same side as subhuman hate-filled animals?
Yes, good people do not treat each other this way. Good people do not slaughter each other and post the killings on social media. Viewing others as subhuman enables one to perform these atrocities.
